Welcome to Southpoint Church.
So…it’s been a while since you’ve been to church. Maybe a lifetime. We know it’s a huge risk to come. So thanks for even considering it! We hope that our website will give you an overview of what you will experience when you visit, and a look at all that we offer.
Sunday Morning – What To Expect
Southpoint’s worship service environment is designed for you – our guest. Just like a home, we expect and ask nothing of you, but to be our guest.
Our service is at 09h30 in the Old Mutual Business School’s Presentation Room. If you have children and you want them to attend either Waumba Land or UpStreet, bring them with you as the children’s programme takes place concurrently. For your peace of mind, you can register your children from 09h15 so you won’t miss anything that happens in the adult auditorium.
Here’s what you can expect when you join us on Sunday:
• Expect to understand and even enjoy the service. We try to provide a weekend environment that’s relevant to real life…and simple enough that everyone can access and understand it. Our aim is to make the messages relevant, engaging and down to earth.
• Expect great music. You might hear a Beatles song or even One Republic… plus some of today’s best worship music.
• Expect your kids to love it.Waumba Land and UpStreet are irresistible environments for kids to explore and learn about God in ways that engage them.
• Expect to find people like you. Dress comfortably. Jeans are great. And when you get here, expect to find people who don’t have it all figured out, but like you, are on a journey. Feel free to be yourself.
• Expect to be as anonymous or as connected as you want to be. We won’t force ourselves on you or make you sign anything, but when you’re ready, you’ll find a community of people just like you ready to welcome you.
