Strategic Service Application

Thanks for being interested in service at Southpoint Church. Below you will find all the different areas that you can get involved in at Southpoint Church. Select from the drop down boxes your first and second choice, and a person from that ministry will contact you.
  • The Production Team at Southpoint Church strive to create a worship service environment that is comfortable and inviting and we pray that God uses our efforts to help create a “wow factor” that will lead many to Christ and life change. We have both technical and non technical positions and no prior experience is necessary.
  • Creating an appealing environment for others to experience God on Sunday mornings.
  • Creating an exciting and relational environment for children in grade 1 - 6 by leading a small group, singing, teaching or greeting.
  • Creating a safe and enjoyable environment for preschoolers by greeting, playing, or teaching.
  • Creating a welcoming environment for Southpoint Church attenders in the parking lot, foyer and auditorium.
  • Creating an exciting, safe and relational environment for grade 6 - 8's by leading a small group or greeting.
  • Serving our guests by providing coffee or tea after the service.
  • Creating a safe and relational environment for grade 7 - 12's by leading a small group, being part of the band, teaching, greeting, providing refreshments or security.
  • :connections is our resource centre that provides message CDs, DVDs, and other media resources that equip people to pursue relationships with God and others. Volunteers are needed to serve on Sundays before and after the service.
  • 2-3 hours during the week or as needed to answer the telephone and perform light front desk duties.
  • 2to1 Premarital Mentors are married couples who have been married more than 5 years who mentor engaged couples to prepare them for marriage.

    Strategic service is placing our heart and hands in the place of greatest demand. The hard work of the volunteers at Southpoint Church each week make what we do possible and we want you to be well prepared to contribute. There are a variety of ways you can get plugged in to the mission and to begin we ask you to do the following step.
