Strategic Service Application

Thanks for being interested in service at Southpoint Church. Below you will find all the different areas that you can get involved in at Southpoint Church. Check the box relevant to your area of interest and a person from that ministry will contact you. There is no obligation to get involved and you will be given an opportunity to try it out before committing. At the bottom you will find a space for your details.

  • HOST TEAM

    Creating a welcoming environment for Southpoint Church attenders in the parking lot, foyer and auditorium.

  • ROAD CREW

    Creating an appealing environment for others to experience God on Sunday mornings.

  • INSIDE OUT

    Creating a safe and engaging environment for grade 7 - 12's through connecting, worship, large group teaching and small groups.

  • PRODUCTION

    Producing a relevant worship environment through audio, video and lighting.
    The Production Team at Southpoint Church is a group of highly motivated, committed, and enthusiastic servants who value excellence and one another. We strive to create a worship service environment that is comfortable and inviting and we pray that God uses our efforts to help create a “wow factor” that will lead many to Christ and life change. If that sounds exciting and if you’re willing to stretch yourself, try some new things, and learn a whole lot, please consider serving along side us. We have both technical and non technical positions and no prior experience is necessary.

  • UPSTREET

    Creating an exciting and relational environment for children in grade 1 - 6 by leading a small group, singing, teaching or greeting.

  • WAUMBA LAND

    Creating a safe and enjoyable environment for preschoolers by greeting, playing, or teaching.

  • RESOURCES

    :connections is our resource centre that provides message CDs, DVDs, and other media resources that equip people to pursue relationships with God and others. Volunteers are needed to serve on Sundays before and after the service.

  • MEDIA

    The Media Team create all the audio/visual elements used in the different environments that set our service and production teams up for success.

  • DURING THE WEEK

    Ways you can get Involved during the week.
    2-3 hours per week or as needed to answer the telephone and perform light front desk duties.
    2to1 Premarital Mentors are married couples who have been married more than 5 years who mentor engaged couples to prepare them for marriage.

By choosing to join a strategic service team you are becoming a vital part of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The hard work of the volunteers at Southpoint Church each week make what we do possible and we want you to be well prepared to contribute. There are a variety of ways you can get plugged in to the mission and to begin we ask you to do the following step.
